Many blaster bursts and saber swooshes later and we are now four months into our Old Republic adventure. With the Spring a few changes and updates are coming to RSGC.

Roster Update 

If you have not already please update your status on the RSGC Active Duty Roster Thread and add the name of your main or your legacy name to the members notes of your alts. We will be updating the official roster soon.

Scheduling Feedback

The Operations Council has started a scheduling thread to collect information on everyone’s availability. If you have fixed schedules of any kind please give them some feed-back and this will be a big help in planning future events.

New Rank Structure

There is a contest under way to name the ranks in our new five tier rank structure. To participate just post your ideas here.

The Calendar

Remember to check the calendar from time to time. Most events are posted at least a week in advance.

First I would like to say welcome to all the new members who have joined over the past few weeks and to those who have just joined as well. With over three months of TOR behind us and as we get ready for TOR 1.2 it is time to do a little community housecleaning.

If everyone can please do the following simple things before our next community meeting which is set for April 21st.

Log in every character, Republic or Imperial, so we can see who was online for the last month.

For all of your alts add your forum/vent name to the member notes on the in-game roster.

Sign up on the RSGC Active Duty Roster. This is also where you can maintain community membership if you are inactive in-game.

Update your information on the RSGC Character Spreadsheet.

Cheers to All as we revel in this long awaited for launch day. Many of us have been playing over the past week of Early Access and we have already shared numerous in-game adventures. During the coming weeks we will be working as a guild to make our gaming experience fun and hassle free. We encourage everyone to use these forums including the calendar to set up gaming times and to  coordinate your efforts (like the crafting thread). It is important enough to mention again that most of our in-game efforts are conducted on the Ventrilo Server. TOR certainly offers many opportunities for solo as well as group gaming so it is perfectly acceptable to mute the Ventrilo Server during in-game conversations or to go to another channel on the server. We will set up more channels if needed.

Also please keep in mind if the Ventrilo Server is getting full and you are AFK you may be kicked. Another thing to remember is the intention to keep the language on the main Vent channel PG-13. The idea hear is that community members should not have to worry about what blasts out of their speakers when family members are near.

It is also worth mentioning that our community admins have an open door policy, if you have any issues please feel free to contact me or any of the other admins. Welcome to the Red Squadron Gaming Community. We are happy to announce that our two guilds for Star Wars the Old Republic, Red Republic and Vox Rubricae are ready for launch. For over a year we have anxiously awaited the release of TOR and now we are happy to dedicate our community resources to this game.

Please treat this site as you would a beta release. You may find layout glitches, images that don't "fit" with the rest of the theme, and other minor issues. However, all functions of the site be acurately working.
